The Panorama Open Scholarly Index (POSI) is a publicly auditable platform that evaluates journal quality across metadata completeness, transparency, governance, and technical accessibility. Rather than relying on opaque impact metrics, POSI provides structured, machine-readable evidence so that researchers, librarians, and institutions can make informed decisions about where to publish and what to read.
POSI integrates data from Crossref, OpenAlex, DOAJ, ROR, ORCID, and OAI-PMH repositories, synthesising them into a unified quality framework built for open science.
