1. Immediate Open Access
Panorama Scholarly Group (PSG) adopts a strict Open Access model. All articles published in our journals are made immediately and permanently available online free of charge. We believe that free access to research results promotes a global exchange of knowledge, accelerates scientific discovery, and enriches education.
Readers are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of our articles without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative) definition of open access.
2. Licensing Terms
Panorama Scholarly Group utilizes Creative Commons licenses to facilitate the legal sharing and reuse of research. Depending on the specific journal, articles are published under one of the following licenses. Please refer to each journal's homepage for its specific licensing terms.
A. Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0)
Most of our journals are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Under this license, users are free to:
- Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms, which require appropriate credit to the original author(s) and source.
B. Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0)
Select journals (e.g., Journal of Engineering Systems and Applications) are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
Under this license, users are free to share and adapt the work under the following conditions:
- Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
- NonCommercial: You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
3. Copyright Retention
Unlike traditional publishing models, authors publishing with Panorama Scholarly Group retain the copyright to their work. Authors grant PSG a license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher. Authors are free to disseminate their work, use it for educational purposes, or republish it, provided the original publication in our journal is cited.
4. Diamond Open Access & Fee Policy
Panorama Scholarly Group is proud to implement the Diamond Open Access model for our flagship medical journal, Health Nexus. For this specific journal:
- No Article Processing Charges (APCs): Authors publishing in Health Nexus are not charged fees for submission, processing, or publication.
- No Subscription Fees: Libraries and readers are not charged to access the content.
The costs of publication for Health Nexus are fully subsidized by our institutional partners and academic grants, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder the dissemination of critical medical research. For other journals in our portfolio, please refer to their specific submission guidelines regarding Article Processing Charges (APCs).
5. Self-Archiving Policy
We encourage authors to self-archive their work. Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their article in an institutional or other repository of their choice:
- Pre-print: The version submitted to the journal before peer review.
- Post-print: The version accepted for publication after peer review.
- Publisher's Version: The final published PDF.
We request that authors include a link to the published article on the journal's website using the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to ensure citation accuracy.
6. Data Sharing and Reproducibility
To facilitate reproducibility and data reuse, PSG encourages authors to share the data, code, and other artifacts supporting the results in their articles. We recommend depositing data in recognized public repositories (e.g., Zenodo, Figshare, Dryad) and including a Data Availability Statement in the published article.
