Peer review conduct
Reviewers are expected to provide objective, evidence-based assessments and maintain manuscript confidentiality throughout review.
Originality and citation
Submissions must be original, properly cited, and free from undisclosed duplicate or redundant publication.
Conflict disclosure
Authors, reviewers, and editors should disclose relationships that could reasonably be seen as influencing editorial judgment.
Corrections and retractions
When significant issues are confirmed after publication, journals may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as appropriate.
Confidentiality and data use
Unpublished manuscript content should not be used for personal research, teaching, or distribution without explicit permission from the rights holder.
Appeals and concerns
Authors may submit a reasoned appeal where they identify a substantive procedural or evaluative issue in editorial handling.
